Human Resources Administrator Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for providing extremely diverse, self-directed support to the Evacuation and Interiors Human Resources team. He/She will execute HR duties such as employee orientation, data consolidation, analysis and reporting for Evacuation and Interiors HR metrics.

The Human Resources Administrator will assist in the implementation of HR initiatives and projects as required. He/She has a dual reporting relationship to HR Manager, Evac and Director, Human Resources, and also provides customer service and support for HR.

Job Description:

The Human Resources Administrator will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Work with internal customers to address HR questions/concerns

  • Conduct data consolidation, analysis and reporting of HR metrics including Hilites, Control Review, HRBAC and HR PDPR metrics

  • Insure accuracy and timeliness of reports submission

  • Run HRMS Report writer and other HR systems as needed

  • Conduct new employee orientations and administer pre-employment requirements

  • Coordinate the temporary employee process and all associated tasks

  • Issue and audit security badge access

  • Maintain department personnel records, report and other regulatory information

  • Provide support activities relating to benefits, recruiting and employee relations

  • Prepare presentations to all levels of employees

  • Prepare annual AAP reports

  • Conduct annual training classes i.e. Open Enrollment, Diversity… etc.

  • Provide coverage in the Receptionist function as necessary

  • Adhere to all Company rules and codes of conduct

  • Responsible for other HR projects and tasks as needed.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Human Resources Administrator Job

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong systems proficiency in HR systems and reporting
  • Ability to develop and prepare accurate spreadsheets and reports
  • Ability to prepare presentations, with graphics, using Excel and Powerpoint using proper grammar and word usage
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and oral with the ability to communicate to all levels
  • Ability to maintain and build employee trust through confidentiality
  • Demonstrated time management including ability to multi-task with conflicting priorities in a pressure environment while still maintaining a customer-oriented demeanor
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or government regulations
  • Ability to write, edit and proof read reports, business correspondence, or procedural manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various groups of employees such as engineers administrative and production staff
  • Ability to consistently meet deadline
  • Strong analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to apply logical thinking to practical problems
  • Ability to work additional hours when needed
  • Experience working in a Continuous Improvement environment with some familiarity with CI tools and processes
  • Database or HRIS knowledge
  • Experience with benefits administration
  • < 10% travel.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Human Resources Administrator Job

  • Associate degree in HR, Business or related field; or at least four years combined experience in HR and/or administrative support
  • Bachelor degree in HR, Business or related field.
  • PHR certification.
