Job Summary:
The
Director Human Resources - Manufacturing
will be responsible for providing HR
leadership and generalist support to
various client groups at the Company's
manufacturing facility. He/She will
develop and maintain close business
partnerships with the Plant Manager and
plant leadership team and partner with
them to develop, implement and
evaluate/monitor HR programs, policies,
and processes to support the achievement
of business objectives.
Operating
within the integrated HR model, the
Director Human Resources - Manufacturing
will partner with various parts of the
HR organization to develop and deliver
appropriate services.
Job
Description:
The
Director Human Resources - Manufacturing will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Develop HR plans and strategies to
support the achievement of business
objectives and achievement of
desired culture, providing overall
leadership, direction and
development of the HR function
including training, staffing,
compensation to execute HR
strategies
-
Drive
overall implementation of plans and
strategies, continually monitors
effectiveness
-
Consult with management on a variety
of HR and business related issues,
both strategically and operationally
-
Continually assess the effectiveness
of the organization’s business model
and organization dynamics and lead
efforts to realign/refocus as needed
-
Provide ongoing advice and counsel
to all levels of the organization to
resolve employee related matters and
partners with management to ensure
fair and equitable solutions are
implemented and issues are resolved
-
Provide coaching and development
feedback to individuals at all
levels within the organization
-
Drive
plant wide talent planning
initiatives (in partnership with
Talent Management) including
Organization Inventory (assessment,
calibration, development and
succession planning etc)
-
Ensure integrated HR systems
including compensation and
performance management are
implemented
-
Provide feedback to COEs on
effectiveness of programs and unmet
needs.

4 years
of management experience preferred.
Previous experience should ideally
include HR support of a manufacturing
operation
Knowledge
of US labor law.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For

Bachelor’s degree. 10+ years Human
Resources generalist.
