Associate Director Human Resources Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Associate Director Human Resources will serve as active member of business leadership team advising client group in development and implementation of effective HR solutions to deliver desired business results. He/She will, as appropriate, identify HR solutions to meet high priority business needs.

Job Description:

The Associate Director Human Resources will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Gather and analyze feedback and diagnose business / people issues and partner with HR BP in developing and implementing solutions

  • Manage HR resources and priorities, to align to business goals, and lead successful implementation of initiatives and/or HR processes

  • Support organizational design, development and change management solutions implementation

  • Coach management team on leadership and HR issues including application of HR policies and processes, restructuring, complex employee issues

  • Coach on people management, career development and personal leadership

  • Develop critical role succession plans, leadership development, workforce planning, and organizational capability building to attract, retain, develop, and engage talent in critical roles

  • Collaborate with COE Process Experts or local/regional specialists to execute HR processes (i.e. recruitment, comp planning, etc.)

  • Provide tools, advice, and information to support effective delivery of HR services and processes

  • Ensure organizational justice and consistency with mission and pledge.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Associate Director Human Resources Job

  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Generalist and/or significant expertise in a HR Specialty i.e., staffing, organizational development
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, changing, matrix environment and deliver value-added results to the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior leaders
  • Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with business and HR teams
  • Experience analyzing and diagnosing situations to develop effective individual, team and/or organizational interventions.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Associate Director Human Resources Job

  • BA/BS Degree, Advanced Degree preferred, and 7+ years of HR relevant business experience.
