Job Summary:
The
Assistant Human Resources Manager -
Manufacturing
will supervise all plant human resources
functions including recruitment and
retention, compensation and benefits,
employee relations, regulatory and legal
compliance, training and development.

The
Assistant Human Resources Manager -
Manufacturing will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Monitor the plant compensation, to
ensure equity and consistency with
company guidelines, and recommends
adjustments when appropriate
Perform market surveys to ensure
market competitiveness
Administer annual plant bonuses and
merit increases
Supervise the administration of all
employee benefits programs
Hold
annual Open Enrollment meetings with
workforce
Develop and implement the plant's
Affirmative Action Plan
Monitor compliance with government
regulations regarding equal
opportunity/affirmative action, ADA
and FMLA
Positively create ongoing strategic
partnerships, and is sought out by
management for advice and solution
to emerging, complex issues
Bring
critical expertise to the HR
function, which is aligned with
Company and positively impacts the
business
Provide employee relations
counseling and problem solving for
managers and employees to ensure a
productive work environment,
consistent with company values, and
in adherence to state and federal
regulatory law
Primary contact for employees and
managers to answer inquiries and
provide general employee information
including: compensation, benefits,
attendance, performance
reviews/evaluations and terminations
Develop human resources staff, and
supervise and monitor activities to
ensure the attainment of
departmental goals, and the
maintenance of all necessary
personnel records including employee
personnel files, department records,
benefits administration, EEO/AA
logs, etc.
Spend
an adequate amount of time on the
production floor with the workforce,
and conduct listening sessions with
all departments and all levels of
employees
Ensure the consistent application
and interpretation of company-wide
policies and programs including
performance management, employment,
diversity and inclusion, and career
development
Develop and conduct training
sessions consistent with plant goals
and objectives
Conduct thorough investigations and
recommend solutions concerning
employees issues/situations
Offer
recruiting and retention strategies
for the plant
Perform
special Projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Assistant Human Resources Manager -
Manufacturing Job
5
years progressive Human Resources
Generalist experience, preferably in
a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated knowledge/experience of
EEO guidelines and procedures
Proficiency in Human Resources laws
and ethics
Demonstrated compensation/benefits/HRIS
knowledge
Change management, and
organizational development
experience
Exceptional written and verbal
communication skills
Demonstrated multi-tasking and
project management skills.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For

Manufacturing Job
Bachelor's degree in Human resources
or related field required
