Job Summary:
The
Administrative Coordinator-Human
Resources - Physicians & Surgeons,
reporting to the Associate Vice Dean of
Human Resources, will provide a broad range
of support for the Human Resources
functions in the College of Physicians &
Surgeons and will act as liaison between
P&S administration and the departments,
centers, institutes and other relevant
offices.Job
Description:
The
Administrative Coordinator-Human
Resources - Physicians & Surgeons will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Develop
reporting tools to analyze HR issues
for P&S administration as well as
for the departments, centers and
institutes
-
Provide counsel to
departments, centers and institutes
on Human Resources policies and
procedures and working with
departments to ensure that they are
in compliance with these policies
-
Oversee the process for review
and approval of recruitment and
compensation in the departments,
centers and institutes of P&S
-
Work with hiring managers
concerning the use of Organization's
online application system, the
Hire/Rehire (FAST) system and the
administrative recruitment process
-
Manage the Human Resources needs
for P&S Administration including the
hiring and on-boarding processes
-
Assist the departments, centers
and institutes with researching and
resolving payroll/HR related issues
-
Advise them on preparation of SAFs
-
Assist them with troubleshooting
and researching PeopleSoft issues
-
Develop and maintain various
systems and databases needed for
planning, analyzing and reporting
-
Prepare and maintain
organization charts
-
Maintain
various listservs and lists of P&S
administrators
-
Assist with
events and meetings
-
Provide
general office support within P&S
administration
-
Perform other
related duties as assigned.

skills

Proven ability to
communicate collaboratively and
effectively with all levels of
staff

Computer proficiency

Experience in university
or academic environment preferred

Expertise with PeopleSoft preferred
-
In-depth knowledge and
experience with Microsoft Office
specifically Excel/Access and
PeopleSof
-
Experience developing metrics and
managing reporting as related to
those metrics.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For

Bachelor's degree and four (4) years
of related experience, or the
equivalent in education, training
and experience.
