Senior Information Analyst - Finance - Foods Job Description

 

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Senior Information Analyst - Finance - Foods will work independently or lead small teams.

Job Description:

The Senior Information Analyst - Finance - Foods will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Interact with internal business teams to develop process automation tools

  • Learn and support existing process automation tools that are in place

  • Design and implement automated processes within Financial Operations groups

  • Evaluate, propose and implement new business software tool

  • Learn and support externally hosted application interfaces and functionality

  • Lead Business Objects Initiatives

  • Develop data extracts and management reports

  • Define Business Objects Universes over internal databases

  • Administrate BO user set-up/maintenance

  • Lead SQL Server Development and Maintenance

  • Create new and maintain existing databases

  • Create new and maintain existing ETL jobs (SSIS)

  • Perform any required upgrades/liaison with SQL Server technical team

  • Liaison between Financial Operations and I/T department for back office systems

  • Work directly with I/T group in system process problems, interfaces and enhancements

  • Continuously work with HQ Finance and field on system on enhancements

  • Perform Quickbase applications, Website development, G/L, Fixed Assets Support.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Senior Information Analyst - Finance - Foods Job

  • 2 years of professional experience in either a technical (I/T) department or as a liaison between I/T and Finance

  • Proficient in Business Objects or other database tools

  • Proficient in MS SQL Server or other database tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Access

  • 3 years of professional experience in either a technical (I/T) department or as a liaison between I/T and Finance

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Fixed Assets, and Web Development

  • Attention to detail, initiative and strong analytical skills

  • Strong communication skills with all levels of management.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Senior Information Analyst - Finance - Foods Job

  • B.S. in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology.
