responsible for providing business
analysis and decision support for the

The
Manager - Finance - Insurance will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Prepare and present detailed
financial analysis of business
results and projections

Provide finance support for
planning/forecasting, investment
optimization (IO) and reporting
activities
-
Establish and maintain on-going
relationship with business partners
to provide seamless support that
meets business goals and demands
-
Create financial models to support
strategic and tactical business
decisions regarding products and
investments
-
Initiate and implement improvements
in processes, procedures and
practices
-
Prepare senior management
presentations.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Manager - Finance - Insurance Job
-
Strong finance background with
experience across multiple
disciplines including business
analysis, planning/forecasting,
results analysis, investment
management and accounting
-
5+ years of relevant financial
analysis and planning/forecasting
experience
-
Knowledge of AXP financial
planning/forecasting processes,
tools and MIS considered a strong
plus
-
International and/or insurance
industry experience considered a
plus
-
Solid analytical and financial
modeling skills
-
Advanced PC skills (e.g., Excel,
PowerPoint) with VBA/macros and
Access skills considered a plus
-
Effective communication with various
levels of management
-
Successful collaboration across
geographies in a matrix structure
-
Proficient project and time
management with simultaneous
deliverables.
