Job Description:

• Responsible for VSO and Corporate Accounting legal entity book close, VSO and Corporate Accounting legal entity Cash Flow and Supplemental

• Analyze accounts/investigate variances and issues

• Perform VSO capital additions

• Perform SEC 404 Compliance

• Assist in establishing appropriate accounting policies for Company

• Monitor changes in GAAP and SEC reporting and prepare summaries for upper management

• Assist team responsible for oversight activities to coordinate requirements gathering and interact with IT Support and FP&A (Users) to enhance mechanization of currently manual reporting processes

• Assist with creating status report and performing follow up/review as needed in oversight of Verizon SOX program

• Assist in the preparation of the monthly consolidated financial statements

• Assist in the preparation of the earnings release and SEC filing materials.

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Basic, Access, Project, Visio and SharePoint

• Web design skill

• Understanding of accounting principles

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, follow-up and interpersonal skills

• Strong oral and written communications skills, as well as strong organizational skills

• Quick learner, and self-starter

• Ability to work independently or within a team environment
