The
Principal Engineer - Manufacturing
Engineering will be responsible for
coordinating Manufacturing Engineering
activities and lead projects to
manufacture and test components,
products, and systems.

The
Principal Engineer - Manufacturing
Engineering will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Evaluate, analyze, and make
recommendations on products,
designs, and cost improvements to
improve the competitive position of
the company. Recognize project
dependencies and optimize resources
-
Prepare, execute, and report on
engineering studies as well as
Installation Qualification,
Operation Qualification, and Process
Qualifications for First of Code
Validation
-
Prepare and/or revise manufacturing
operating procedures and
specifications to accommodate new
product line implementation or
current manufacturing process
-
Organize teams from quality,
manufacturing, engineering and
maintenance and plan the
installation, validation and
implementation of the newly produced
equipment as well as production
support
-
Manage and resolve project conflicts
with respect to resources, activity
progress and/or interpersonal
relationship issues.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Principal Engineer -
Manufacturing Engineering Job
-
Five
to eight (5-8) years related
experience and/or training
-
Five
(5) years experience in a
manufacturing environment
-
Experience in working with CAD,
CAD/CAM software and Solid Works
-
Supervisory and project management
experience is a plus
-
Experience in high volume, high
quality manufacturing environment
and/or experience in engineering
plastics or elastomers
-
Strong experience with documentation
and formal engineering/product
development process
-
Working knowledge of Design
software; Internet software; Project
Management software; Spreadsheet
software and Word Processing
software
-
Ability to write clearly and
informatively
-
Ability to vary writing style to
meet needs
-
Ability to present numerical data
effectively
-
Ability to read and interpret
written information
-
Solid
understanding of theories/practices
utilized by other engineering
disciplines outside primary area of
expertise.

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in an
Engineering discipline, such as
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, Industrial Engineering,
Manufacturing Engineering, from a
four-year college or university.
