Description:
The
Network Engineer will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Design, plan, procure, configure and
maintain WiFi networks company-wide
-
Perform configuration and set-up of
site switches and routers
-
Create/maintain documentation that
meets ISO 20000 standards
-
Adhere to established standard
network designs and network
engineering policies/procedures
-
Produce monthly reports summarizing
SLA performance metrics and network
device deployment statistics
-
Participate in network on-call
rotation
-
Prepare and present training
information to technical staff and
user personnel.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Network Engineer Job
-
3
years experience installing,
configuring and troubleshooting on
an enterprise network, including
WiFi APs and Controllers
-
3
years experience with MPLS WANs, BGP,
EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols
-
1
year experience in configuring and
maintaining WiFi networking
-
Ability to obtain a US Security
Clearance
-
TACACS+ configuration on routers and
switches
-
Previous configuration experience
with Cisco Load Balancers, VPN
Concentrators, Cisco Nexus Switches,
Cisco WiFi Controllers
-
Previous configuration experience
with Riverbed Technology appliances
highly desirable
-
Familiarity with ISO 20000
-
Project Planning Experience
-
Commitment to maintaining the

Clear
oral and written communication
-
Strong problem-solving and
trouble-shooting skills
-
Ability to work in fast paced
environments and adapt quickly to
changing situations

Ability to effectively handle

Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Network Engineer
Job

B.S.
in Information Systems, or
Engineering and at least 5 years of
related Network Engineering
experience
-
Cisco
CCNP is required, along with 3 years
experience in switching and routing
-
Cisco
CCVP, CCNP Wireless
-
ITIL
v3 Foundations Certification.
