The
Manager Product Engineering will be responsible for
driving re-engineering programs and New
Product Introductions. In addition to
leading and managing engineering staff
the Manager Product Engineering will
also develop and validate factory and
product assessments, tests, and
inspections in coordination with
suppliers, foreign sourcing offices, and
service providers.

Manager Product Engineering will perform

description:
Develop and manage customer
focused products supporting
manufacturing excellence: product
(electrical / mechanical / material
science), manufacturing, packaging
development, and supplier development
programs
Manage processes to ensure
supplier and factory compliance with
relevant requirements from Standard
Operating Procedures, contracts,
supplier buying agreements, and purchase
orders
Manage business area / engineering
discipline to the metrics and reporting
developed to monitor quality, service,
cost, and risk components of each
process
Manage Standard Operating
Procedures, reporting, metrics, and
audit controls to support a data driven
system of risk and performance based
criteria to manage suppliers, factories,
and products to quality, cost, service,
and risk goals
Define technical requirements
associated with factory and product
specifications
Review and resolve
issues with suppliers, factories,
service providers, merchandising, store
operations, distribution, safety,
customers, and other related supply
chain components. Implement continuous
improvement / corrective action /
preventive action plan implementation
throughout each process.
Ability
to present and interpret information to
promote action and decision-making
Cross functional, multi project
management
Solid
organizational skills, strong analytical
ability and ability to develop and
interpret operating metrics and
financial data. Experience in applying
statistics to business process
Develop
and maintain high quality
relationships; establish formal and
informal networks to accomplish goals
International operations experience,
supported by foreign language skills
(oral and written)
Personnel management experience in a
manufacturing or engineering environment
Continuous improvement program
development and execution (e.g., Six
Sigma or Lean Manufacturing)

interpret data.
