Engineering Intern - Chip Designing Job Description

 

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Engineering Intern - Chip Designing will be working with senior chip designers, doing assorted tasks across the chip design cycle as needed.

Job Description:

The Engineering Intern - Chip Designing will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Perform digital design, verification/simulation, firmware, synthesis, timing analysis, design for test, place and route, bring-up, etc.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Engineering Intern - Chip Designing Job

  • Digital design understanding

  • Knowledge in languages relevant to the ASIC development process including Verilog, Unix Scripting, C, Perl, etc.

  • Strong analytical, and problem solving skills as well as hands-on lab skills

  • Self-motivated, excellent communication skills and ability to excel in a team environment

  • Any hands-on industry experience is a big plus

  • Ability to work FT during the summer and PT throughout the school year

  • GPA of 3.3 or above.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Engineering Intern - Chip Designing Job

  • MS or Ph.D. students are preferable, senior year of undergraduate are considered, too.
