Job Summary:
The
Customer Service Representative Clinic will
provide the first point of contact for
Company customers when they enter the
clinic. He/She will greet and register
the customer; completing all necessary
forms; obtaining demographic and
insurance information from the customer;
collecting customer co-payment and
posting payments; and adding or updating
customer file information on-line.

insurance coverage

Schedule
patients in the Physician Practice
Management System

Answer
telephone, screen calls and take
messages.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Customer Service Representative
Clinic Job
One
year of experience using mainframe
or personal computer applications
including Microsoft Office & Windows
applications
One
year of previous customer service
and/or receptionist experience,
including both direct customer
contact, and contact via telephone
Ability to speak clearly and
concisely
Ability to sort and file materials
correctly by alpha/numeric system
Ability to read and understand
verbal and written instructions
One
year of experience working in a
medical environment including an
understanding of medical terminology
and the medical insurance process is
preferred
Experience using basic office
equipment, i.e., fax machine, 10-key
calculator and copy machine is
preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Customer Service Representative Clinic Job
