Job Summary:
The
Customer Service Mailroom Associate will be responsible for
performing customer service duties.
Job

The
Customer Service Mailroom Associate will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Pick-up
and deliver mail, parcels and other
items to customers within established
timeframes and service standards

Use
special tracking programs, outlook and
Excel· Lift large bundles of mail (sort,
deliver and meter mail using the postage
meter)
-
Handle
time-sensitive material like
confidential, urgent packages
-
Participate in cross-training
-
Maintain
the highest levels of customer care
while demonstrating a friendly and
cooperative attitude
-
Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying
customer demands in a high volume,
production environment
-
Take
direction from supervisor or site
manager
-
Study how
to run mail, copy or fax equipment
-
Perform
other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Customer Service Mailroom Associate Job
Six
months customer service related
experience
Six
months experience in a mail center
environment preferred
Keyboarding and windows environment PC
skills
Excellent
communication skills both verbal and
written
Ability
to effectively work individually or in a
team environment
Competency in performing multiple
functional tasks
Ability
to meet employer's attendance policy
Ability to
lift up
to 55 pounds
Ability
to stand for long periods of time
Ability
to maintain all logs and report
documentation
Attention
to detail
Ability
to adhere to all safety procedures
Ability
to adhere to all applicable Federal,
State, Local and Company safety and
traffic regulations/policies
Excellent
customer service practices.
