Customer Service Assistant Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Assistant will be performing full-cycle bookkeeping duties which include: processing A/R and A/P, invoicing, managing cash flow, reconciling bank statements, and preparing monthly financials.  

Job Description:

The Customer Service Assistant will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Process Payroll through ADP

  • Maintain inventory records. Prepare expense reports

  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations

  • Complete and submit tax forms and returns

  • Prepare bank deposits

  • Process Credit Card via Pay Pal and make weekly reports

  • Perform general office duties such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence

  • Perform additional duties and report, as directed. 

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Customer Service Assistant Job

  • 3-5 years of accounting and bookkeeping
  • Customer service and some experience in Personal assistance
  • Positive and motivated
  • Experience and excellent computer skills
  • Proactive and ability to work independently as well as positive contributor to the team!
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or wholesale environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Proficient in MS Office with in-depth knowledge of Excel.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Customer Service Assistant Job

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
