Job Summary:
The
Construction Vehicle Repairer will work
on such machinery as Trucks,
Bulldozers, and Power shovels in
the Army National Guard. Job
Description:
The
Construction Vehicle Repairer will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Construction Vehicle Repairer will
maintain and replace brake actuators,
batteries, starter motors, alternators,
mechanical fuel pumps, and hydraulic
cylinders
-
Adjust engine speed
governor/valves, carburetors, dry-disc
clutches, steering brakes, and fuel
injector racks
-
Charge suspension
accumulators, transmission shift
accumulators and main hydraulic
accumulators
-
The
Construction Vehicle Repairer will troubleshoot problems in
vehicle engines, electrical systems,
steering, brakes, and suspensions
-
Tune
up and repair engines
-
Replace or repair
damaged body parts, hydraulic arms,
shovels, and grader blades
-
The
Construction Vehicle Repairer will
establish and follow maintenance
schedules.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Construction Vehicle Repairer Job

The
Construction Vehicle Repairer
must be between the ages of 17 and 35

He/She
must be able to pass a physical exam and
meet legal and moral standards
