Description:
The
Bridge Construction Foreman will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
The
Bridge Construction Foreman will be
responsible for directing crews involved
in the construction
He/She
will also be responsible for the
maintenance and repair of railroad
bridge structures.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Bridge Construction Foreman Job
-
The
Bridge Construction Foreman should
possess 2 years of bridge construction
experience
He/She
must be able to perform heavy physical
labor
Must be
able to understand oral and written
instructions
Must pass
a pre-employment drug screen
The
Bridge Construction Foreman
must
satisfactorily complete pre-employment
FRA safety training
Must
possess a driver's license and may be
subject to a background check
The
Bridge Construction Foreman should have
a
carpentry and construction background,
project management skills and
supervisory experience
He/She
should have
bridge
construction experience
Ability
to work
in an
outside environment regardless of
weather conditions
The
Bridge Construction Foreman should be
able to walk and stand for extended
periods on areas with uneven footing and
surface
Ability
to perform very heavy work requiring
heavy lifting of 70 - 100 lbs.
