Description:
The
System - Network Administrator -
Computer Network Defense will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Provide installation, loading and
configuration of systems, servers
and networks
Responsible for administration of
network, computer, or communications
systems, including LAN, WAN and the
organization’s website. This
includes administration of user
accounts, passwords, permissions,
access control lists, email, chat
and other server or network services
Maintain servers, create monitoring
reports and logs and ensure
functionality of links
Monitor networks, websites and
servers for acceptable performance
and user accessibility
Establish backups and monitor site
security
Responsible for configuration
management documentation of network
and system topologies
Responsible for applying security
lockdowns on all Company equipment
in accordance with Joint Task Force
– Global Network Operations (JTF-GNO)
and System Program Office (SPO)
guidance.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For System - Network Administrator
- Computer Network Defense Job
Strong
experience in large Microsoft,
Solaris, Linux, and Cisco
environments
Five
(5) years of increasingly complex
and progressive experience in
implementing, administering,
performing tests and analyzing all
elements of network
systems/servers/Web sites
Security + or equivalent
certification required.
Minimum Education Requirements /

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited
college or university with a
curriculum or major field of study
which provides substantial knowledge
useful in administering large,
complex systems and networks, or an
applicable training certificate from
accredited training institutions.
