The Instructor of Computer Science is responsible for providing 27-32 hours of instruction per academic year in Computer Science and for providing related curriculum and student support as well as student advising.

Job Description:

The Instructor of Computer Science will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Teach Computer Science at the collegiate level

• Maintain office hours

• Attend meetings

• Participate in the governance of the college at the department, discipline, campus and college-wide levels.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Instructor of Computer Science Job

• Prior teaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level

• Ability to teach Computer Science at the collegiate level

• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate to students and facilitate student learning

• Competence with instructional technology

• Ability to lift and carry files and materials

• Ability to move from one office to another office on campus

• Adequate vision, hearing and manual dexterity to interact with people in person, on the phone and in writing.
