Job Summary:
The
Instructor - Computer Resource is
responsible for providing basic and
intermediate computer instruction to
Company Back To Work participants
seeking employment; teach group classes,
and help clients prepare job search
materials, including resumes, cover
letters, etc.
Job
Description:
The
Instructor - Computer Resource will perform all or some of the
following Job description:
-
Provide one-on-one and classroom
computer training and assistance to
individuals learning computer concepts,
including, keyboarding skills, as well
as other training and types of computer
training
-
Teach introductory computers, Microsoft
office suite software classes, and
internet job search classes
-
Develop lesson plans for training
clients at all levels
-
Work one-on-one and in group settings
with clients to help prepare resumes,
cover letters, and other job search
correspondence.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Instructor - Computer Resource Job
-
One year experience working with
computer labs and systems in
educational setting
-
Working in an automated on-line
system
-
Demonstrated proficiency in use of
applied information technology and
on-line database systems
-
Demonstrated keyboarding speed
proficiency and accuracy preferred
for a paperless case management
system
-
One
year of teaching computers in a
classroom setting
Ability to
advise students
Ability to design course outlines
Ability to teach core courses and
advanced seminars
Ability to
write
and coordinate exams.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Instructor - Computer Resource Job
Bachelors in Liberal Arts, Computer
Technology, or related field.
