Job Summary:
The
Electrical - Computer Engineer will
perform a variety of tasks related to
the manufacturing of electronic products
that utilize RF communications
technologies, advanced energy metrology
devices, and multiple processors on
board. The Electrical - Computer
Engineer will perform such tasks as
maintenance of automated, PC-controlled
testing equipment which drive interfaces
to databases and keeps track of the
individually produced products, what
processes they have been through and how
those processes ran.

The
Electrical - Computer Engineer will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Design and implement test and
calibration equipment and procedures for
new products
-
Sustain acceptable manufacturing
processes by monitoring existing streams
of data, understanding what makes an
acceptable process, and learning when to
respond and take appropriate actions
when processes fall out of acceptable
standards
-
Design and implement improved methods
and procedures for testing and
calibrating existing products
-
Design and implement control systems for
manufacturing processes
-
Troubleshoot and maintain production
equipment in the event of failure
-
Perform continuous improvement of
quality, cycle time, and reliability of
production equipment through hardware
and/or software modifications
-
Perform quality evaluation of product
produced on production equipment
-
Design, implementation, and
documentation of new production test
equipment as needed.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Electrical - Computer Engineer Job
-
1+ years of working experience
creating software applications used
to control IO and peripherals in
hardware systems such as automated
manufacturing equipment
-
Electrical, Computer Science and
Computer Engineering experience
-
Knowledge and experience of
Electronic test equipment, C++ and
PC Hardware
-
Automated test experience with PC or
PLC controlled manufacturing
equipment
-
SQL or Oracle database experience
-
Experience analyzing data using SPC
techniques
-
Experience with RF.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Electrical - Computer Engineer
Job

Bachelor's degree in Electrical
Engineering, Computer Science,
Computer/Management Information
Systems, or Engineering or
equivalent military experience.
