Computer Vision Software Engineer will
provide support for the Science,
Engineering & Technology Division (SET),
participating in the
development and implementation of
video processing algorithms for
interpreting video from unmanned air
vehicles.
Job
Description:
The
Computer Vision Software Engineer will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Perform
hands-on design, development,
experimentation, and testing of
real-time exploitation algorithms
with UAVs in the laboratory and in
flight
Integrate
algorithms for human and
object detection, tracking,
classification, and geolocation with SET’s Realtime
Airborne Video Environment (RAVE)
Pursue
user interface design/development,
software optimization, and real-time
systems development
in a team-oriented environment.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /

4+ years of hands-on experience
building computer vision systems
-
Experience
designing and developing systems
that employ video processing
algorithms
-
Experience in software
engineering and product building
using object-oriented design
principles in Java and C++
-
Very strong experience with
Java Eclipse, Swing and JNI
-
Solid written
and oral communication skills
-
Solid mathematical background
-
An active Secret
clearance is desired.
