Job
Description:
The
Computer Triage Engineer 4 will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Provide support on the multi-agency
City-E911 Center Emergency
Communications Transformation
Program (ECTP)
-
Will
work with the City and world class
solution providers on systems
designed to provide E911 Services to
the Citizens of the State
-
Gather requirements, develop
solutions, and integrate to customer
systems
-
Work
with the City to identify and
document the functional requirement
that will be used to select a COTS
Computerized Triage software
application that will be deployed to
assist Public Safety Call Takers
(Police, Fire, and EMS) in the
proper handling of 9-1-1 calls
-
Support the configuration of the
selected COTS Triage product to meet
specific requirements of the
agencies as previously defined
-
Define
the system requirements, develop a
detailed design, implement the
subsystem, integrate it into the
ECTP System including interfaces to
CAD
Provide knowledge transfer for
system administrators and users, and
transition the system into operation
Work
in conjunction with other project
leads for Networks and Computer
Aided Dispatch.

Skill For Computer Triage Engineer 4 Job

Strong analytical as well as verbal
and written communications skills

Working knowledge of
Public Safety voice and data
application integration with an
emphasis on Computer Aided Dispatch
-
Solid
understanding of public safety
(Police/Fire/EMS) concepts of
operations
-
Previous experience with
configuration of a Computerized
Triage System (ProQA and/or APCO EMD)
-
Experience in the
areas of multi-agency
implementations.
