Computer Technical Support Analyst Job Description

 

 

 

 

Job Description:

The Computer Technical Support Analyst will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Under general supervision, install network and desktop hardware/software

  • Develop hardware/software installation schedules

  • Configure systems and communications devices and peripheral equipment

  • Train site personnel on the proper use of hardware/software

  • Load new software releases at the customer site and maintenance updates

  • Track trouble calls

  • Process trouble reports

  • Perform system analysis, integration and support of new desktop interfaces/products as required.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Computer Technical Support Analyst Job

  • Knowledge of Windows NT/2000/XP and Remedy

  • General understanding of networking in a Windows networked environment

  • Experience providing customer support

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • MCSE/MCP on Windows NT/2000/XP.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Computer Technical Support Analyst Job

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
    Considered experienced, but still a learner. 6 YEARS RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IF CANDIDATE DOES NOT HAVE A BACHELORS DEGREE"

  • A+ OR NET+ Certification.
