Job Summary:
The
Computer Systems Security Analyst 3 is
responsible for design, development,
evaluation, and integration of computer
systems and networks to maintain system
security applying present computer
science technologies.

Description:
The
Computer Systems Security Analyst 3 will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Perform
a
wide range of security duties
including architectures, firewalls,
electronic data traffic, and network
access
Design, test, and implement
state-of-the-art secure operating
systems, networks, and database
products
Apply
encryption technology, penetration
and vulnerability analysis of
various security technologies, and
information technology security
research
May
prepare write security reports to
regulatory agencies
Perform technical assessment of the
security posture of operational
networks
Provide solutions to a variety of
technical problems of increasing
scope and complexity as assigned
Provide assistance, security
engineering and integration services
to team leads and internal company
team contacts, other program
engineers, and support interface
with prime contractor/customers.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Computer Systems Security
Analyst 3 Job

Ability to work with hardware and
software engineers and/or commercial
vendors in the selection and
evaluation of state-of-the-art
secure operating systems, networks,
and database products

Ability to obtain TS/SCI Security
Clearance with DHS Suitability
-
Five
years working within the information
security field, with emphasis on
security incident management,
intrusion detection, firewall
deployment, and computer forensics
-
Five
years of Windows OS experience;
security device installations,
configuration and troubleshooting
(e.g., firewall, IDS, etc.); TCP/IP
protocol suite (IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP,
etc.); system administrative skills
in LAN/WAN management; application
layer protocols (HTTP, FTP, DNS,
SMTP, SNMP, etc)

Technical writing skills.
