Computer Systems Analysis Associate Manager Job Description

 

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Computer Systems Analysis Associate Manager is responsible for successful delivery of deskside computer services to Company employees and other personnel.

Job Description:

The Computer Systems Analysis Associate Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Coordination and execution of hiring, work force planning, skill development, performance assessments, mentoring, merit planning, recognition and disciplinary actions

  • Planning for operations skill and resource needs; provide accurate future staffing forecasts

  • Accountability for day-to-day operational schedules and performance

  • Contribution to the development of service related strategies

  • Successfully working with other Service Desk, Server Administration, Telecommunication and Deskside managers to identify best practices and opportunities to leverage resources across EBS

  • Identifying areas requiring process improvements, capturing and disseminating lessons learned and good business practices

  • Identifying and providing the necessary training required for the service team to be successful

  • Demonstrating and embracing Full Spectrum Leadership behaviors while providing effective leadership

  • Manage and direct the design, development, installation, implementation, research for, and maintenance of internal data processing computer systems and utilities

  • Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions

  • Direct the research of internal or external customers' needs, and ensure determination of equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems by means of automated systems; development of customized solutions to customer/user problems

  • Oversee the establishment of system parameters and formats; ensurance of hardware/software compatibility; and modification of user requirements in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities

  • Ensure analysis of new hardware to determine its need or application in the existing or proposed system; advises on new techniques and validates estimated costs associated with new or revised programs and utilities.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Computer Systems Analysis Associate Manager Job

  • High level of professional technical acumen with a wide variety of operating systems, tools and technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Unix/Linux, and Macintosh systems) illustrated through previous work experience
  • Proven ability to train, lead and support successful technical teams
  • Outstanding Management/Leadership Skills as illustrated through previous work experience
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent teaming and interpersonal skills demonstrated through previous work experience
  • Proven excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail in all situations
  • Excellent teaming and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain appropriate DoD Security Clearance
  • Operating system experience at an application level
  • Experience with Remedy for incident management
  • Professional level desktop Infrastructure Management experience
  • Professional level desktop Infrastructure Operations experience
  • Proven ability to effectively manage programs utilizing program management processes and tools.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Computer Systems Analysis Associate Manager Job

  • Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
