The Computer System Technologist will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Conduct sites surveys; assess and document current site network configuration and user requirements

• Design and optimize network topologies

• Analyze existing requirements and prepare specifications for hardware/software acquisitions

• Prepare engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages

• Develop hardware/software installation schedules

• Prepare drawings documenting configuration changes at each site

• Prepare site installation and test reports

• Configure computers, communications devices and peripheral equipment

• Install network hardware/software

• Train site personnel in proper use of hardware/software

• Build specialized interconnecting cables

• Perform first line support for service interruptions such as printer routings, power outages, wiring problems, and malfunctioning servers

• Escalate unresolved problems to expedite resolution.

• Experience implementing architecture to include the software, hardware and communications to support the total requirements

• Ability to pass required medical screening for assignment

• Experience working with Share Point

• Government Secret Security Clearance

• Familiarity with Government facilities and procedures

• Ability to work in a team environment under stressful situations.
