Description:
The
Computer-Software Intern will perform
all or some of the following Job

Learn through hands
on experience to apply basic social
network analysis techniques to a
range of intelligence and
information operations problems

Research
advanced analysis techniques such as
clustering, pattern detection, and
temporal analysis to assist in
building reference materials and
presentations
Contribute
to customer-facing reports
leveraging social network analysis.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Computer-Software Intern Job

Strong
interest in link and social
network analysis

Ability to define and apply
basic centrality measures such as
degree, betweenness, eigenvector and
closeness across a variety of
datasets
-
Familiarity with
structuring, manipulating, and
validating data
-
Strong
interest in clustering and grouping
algorithms, change detection over
time, multi-modal networks, pattern
analysis, sphere of influence, and
information propagation
-
Experience
with social network analysis
automated tools and link analysis
applications preferred
-
Programming experience in C++ or
Java desired.

Job

Must
have completed at least one semester
in an accredited school pursuing a
degree in electrical engineering,
computer science, management
information systems, information
technology management, or some other
related engineering, information
technology, or business related
program.
