Job
Description:
The
Computer Professional will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Review; analyze; and modify systems
including encoding; testing;
debugging of Company's collaborative
applications
Consult with Company Stakeholders;
staff and management to identify
current operational requirements;
known issues; priorities; and to
clarify program objectives
Perform a variety of complicated
tasks
Perform Collaborative Application
evaluation and assessment to include
but not limited to: H.323 Multipoint
Control Units (MCUs), H.323
Gatekeepers and SIP
Registers/Proxies, Content
Storage/NAS, SAN, Content Recording
and distribution, Video
streaming-Internet Protocol (IP)
h.323/SIP video codecs, Desktop
video (SIP/h.323), and Web
conferencing
Assist Project Coordinator with
project implementation strategy and
act as technical resource for
related projects
Work
closely with Company Video
Operations and Field Operations
providing Tier 3 support and
insuring the design of end-to-end
solutions
Develop documentation to include
drawings and schematics as part of
any design or development
Design of core infrastructure
solutions.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Computer Professional Job

Working
knowledge of relational databases and
client-server concepts
-
Experience and judgment to plan and
accomplish goals
-
Five
years experience in the engineering;
design and support of video and audio
solutions that utilize standards based
hardware and infrastructure in addition
to standard's based test and performance
monitoring equipment
-
Thorough
knowledge of h.323/SIP video core and
edge equipment and applications and the
industry standards
-
Five
years experience implementing and
support large networked applications and
any associated server hardware and
databases
-
Five
years experience supporting layer 2/3
networks and utilizing standards based
network monitoring and testing
applications
-
Five
years experience in the engineering and
design of enterprise level IP based
collaborative solutions that utilize
video; audio; and content sharing and
streaming via an IP based network
-
Experience supporting a large statewide
network and it's enterprise applications
-
Experience with Tandberg/Cisco; Polycom;
Lifesize and RADVision
-
Experience working with IP networks
firewalls.
