Computer and Phone Systems Technician Job Description

 

 

 

 

Job Description:

The Computer and Phone Systems Technician will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Provide daily operational support for desktops/laptops

  • Trouble shoot and resolve user issues related to PC’s and related equipment

  • Participate in systems and applications needed in the manufacturing environment

  • Work with Networks and Server support groups to assist in troubleshooting/upgrading network and server equipment.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Computer and Phone Systems Technician Job
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows OS’s and applications, basic hardware diagnosis and repair, understanding of network connectivity issues

  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently while setting goals and achieving milestones with minimal direction

  • Knowledge in operation and programming of phone systems such as Avaya

  • Strong interpersonal and technical troubleshooting skills

  • Good customer focus

  • Strong communication skills.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Computer and Phone Systems Technician Job

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
