The Computer Operator 3 - Mission will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Operate computers and peripheral equipment

• Enter flight data for mission into the TCTS Mission Line Up (MLU) and to Individual Combat Aircrew Display System (ICADS)

• Interact with Mission Coordinator and or squadron when data is not received in a timely manner for input into MLU

• Verify all information received from the squadron is correct and is accurately reflected in the MLU and ICADS

• Monitor all live missions and notify supervisor of any malfunctions or stoppage immediately

• Assist Range Training Officers\Controllers with mission computer and communications equipment set-up and operation for live mission support

• Input, monitor and change radio frequencies as necessary

• Archive previous mission data and prepare for entry of new flight data into system for next mission

• Start and stop mission recording and set up debrief rooms for mission replay

• Assist Range Training Officers\Controllers and pilots with running replays

• Program Data Recording Devices (DRDs) on the MLU

• Enter data for the daily Mission Summary Form and TRIMS

• Initialize the Link 16 system

• Review DRDs on the Data Merge Device (DMD)

• Document maintenance actions in IEMS

• Cross-trained and qualified to operate multiple TCTS systems.

• Two years of computer maintenance and troubleshooting experience

• Familiar with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite and Outlook e-mail applications

• Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Computer Operator 3 - Mission Job

• Associates degree in computer systems.
