Job Summary:
The
Computer Network Support Senior
is
responsible for providing key
customer-facing and back office IT
operations & maintenance (O&M) services
for a large DoD customer and its
customers.
Job
Description:
The
Computer Network Support Senior will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Perform hardware installation and
operations functions, cabling and
site surveys
-
May
include making recommendations to
government personnel, the ACOR, or
the COR for hardware, cabling,
performance of implementation, and
providing installation management
and documentation functions
-
Sets
up and test a variety of systems and
hardware components prior to field
deployment and provide personal
computer repair and test capability
for all company departments
-
Analyze failed equipment according
to established methods or procedures
and determine whether equipment is
repairable in-house or must be
returned to the vendor for repair
-
Perform standard repairs and tests
of components or equipment that can
be repaired in-house
-
Test
incoming repaired items from vendor
to ensure that repairs were properly
done
-
Perform preventive and on-demand
maintenance on a variety of personal
computer equipment.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Computer Network Support
Senior Job

Ability to install and terminate all
types of standard IT cable and fiber
-
Four
years relevant technical experience
in the areas of installation,
operations, and maintenance of
hardware similar to the SITE
hardware list.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Computer Network Support Senior Job

Typical Minimums High School
diploma, or equivalent
experience/combined education, with
additional specialized technical
training equivalent to a technical
Associate degree and/or demonstrated
ability to perform assigned
technical/para-engineering tasks and
1 Year of experience.

ITIL
Foundation Certification
-
IAT
Level I (0-5 years IA or related
experience) with one of the
following certifications: A+;
Network+; or (ISC) 2: System
Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
-
Clearance Required: DOD current,
active TS/SCI; DIA Adjudicated
preferred.
