Description:
The
Computer Network Operations Tactician will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Work with a team to develop,
validate, and document the Tactics,
Techniques and Procedures (TTP) for
advanced Computer Network Operations
(CNO)
-
Develop the necessary enabling
concept and TTP for employing
fielded CNO systems
-
Research, track, investigate and
evaluate the existing and emerging
cyber-threat and computer network
technologies
-
Support the customer in the
development and execution of AF
Tactics Development Initiatives (TDI)
and Quick Reaction Tactics (QRT)
development.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Computer Network Operations
Tactician Job
-
3+ years operational CNO experience
-
Experience in one or more of the
following Programming Languages: C,
Perl, shell scripting, SQL, PHP,
Visual Basic, Javascript
-
Experience with Unix and Windows
internals and system administration
-
Knowledge of Computer Networking:
Cisco IOS and DNS
-
Knowledge of computer architecture
and operating systems
-
Competence in Data Visualization,
Rapid Prototyping / Proof of
Concept, Software Engineering / Web
Application Development,
Collaboration / Information Sharing,
Agile Program and Project
Management, Network Security
-
Computer Forensics
-
Penetration Testing
-
Active TOP SECRET security
clearance, based on a current single
scope background investigation (SSBI)
-
Favorable completion of Full
Screening Polygraph completed by the
U.S. Government.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Engineering, Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, Information
Systems, Mathematics or related
discipline or equivalent documented
combination of training and
experience

Advanced degree in related technical
field desired

DOD 8570
-
CISSP/Network+ or Security+
-
CEH.
