litigation, and intellectual property.

Description:
The
Computer Forensics Investigator will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Participate in discovery phase of
cases
-
Acquire electronic evidence
-
Recover all available data,
including deleted and temporary
files
-
Follow proper protocols in
preserving electronic evidence
-
Document chain of custody
-
Effectively manage and analyze large
volumes of electronic data
-
Perform investigative analysis of
electronic data according to the
specific needs of the case
-
Utilize tools such as EnCase and FTK
to execute investigative analysis
-
Authenticate data for presentation
in court
-
Customize analysis and professional
reports for investigations
-
Perform IT support and project
related work as necessary.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Computer Forensics
Investigator Job
-
Experience
working in all phases of Computer
Forensics cases discovery,
analysis and investigation,
reporting, and court presentation
-
Experience with investigative
software such as EnCase and FTK
(Forensics Took Kit)
-
Experience providing expert witness
testimony in court
-
Strong understanding of computer
operating systems and networks
-
Experience troubleshooting computer
and network problems
-
Ability to provide effective IT
support.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Computer
Forensics Investigator
Job
Bachelors degree, ideally in
Computer Forensics, or related field
such as Computer Science or Criminal
Justice
Computer Forensics Certification (EnCE is first preference
(CCE, CFE, CFCE or CIFI is
acceptable minimum).
