Description:
The
Computer Forensics Associate will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Help
identify and analyze vulnerabilities
in order to manage and mitigate risk
Assist companies involved in
investigative or litigation to
locate, recover, preserve and
analyze electronically-stored
information such as email while
preserving its evidentiary value
When
a computer system project goes awry,
identify the nature of the failure,
determine whether the system was
improperly constructed in the first
place, assess software applications
for design flaws and evaluate
whether the system or applications
meet performance standards
Serve
as expert witnesses in the case of a
dispute
Design and build a security system
from scratch or test existing
systems to ensure their integrity
Respond to specific security-related
incidents to minimize their impact
on the client's business.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Computer Forensics Associate Job

Working knowledge of forensics and
analysis, incident response, and
eDiscovery
-
Experience delivering forensic
technology, eDiscovery services, and
building relationships with clients
-
Experience with any of the following
products / tools: EnCase, Paraben,
litigation-support software,
Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic,
Microsoft .NET framework, Microsoft
Access, SQL, Microsoft Exchange,
Lotus Notes/Domino, or system
administration experience in
Microsoft, AS400, Linux/Unix, or
Macintosh

Working experience identifying and
addressing client needs: building
solid relationships with clients;
developing an awareness of Firm
services; communicating with the
client in an organized and
knowledgeable manner; delivering
clear requests for information;
demonstrating flexibility in
prioritizing and completing tasks;
and communicating potential
conflicts to a supervisor
-
Working experience as a team member:
understanding personal and team
roles; contributing to a positive
working environment by building
solid relationships with team
members; proactively seeking
guidance, clarification and
feedback; providing guidance,
clarification and feedback to
less-experienced staff.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Computer Forensics Associate
Job

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of
Arts degree
-
Preferred concentration: Computer
Science, Information Technology, or
a Masters in Information Systems.

EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE),
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE),
and/or Certified Information Systems
Security Professional (CISSP)
certifications.
