The
Computer Forensics Analyst is
responsible for Creating and
articulating a global vision for the
company computer investigation service. Job

The
Computer Forensics Analyst will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Manage and provide streamlined
operational services based on
guidance from Corporate Legal,
Corporate Security, and Human
Resources
-
Understand the end to end
technology chain and process
involved in delivering global
services for computer forensics
-
Develop processes and procedures for
computer investigations that comply
with corporate, legal, and
regulatory requirements
-
Responsible
for gathering, control, analysis
storage and preservation of evidence
maintaining proper chain of custody
through case life
-
Respond to all
system incident investigations
-
Collect evidence and maintain
chain of custody records
-
Conduct
extensive forensic analysis
-
Develop detailed reporting
methods and procedures
-
Evaluate
new forensic technologies and
methods
-
Review and enhance
computer forensic toolkit and
processes to ensure confidentiality
and effective use of resources
-
Perform forensic trend analysis
and recommend improvements to
security program to reduce risk of
misuse
-
Perform data extraction
services for business continuity
-
Assist with data preservation
requests for BMS Legal and hard
drive recovery services for end
users
-
Maintain and grow effective
client and partner relations
communicating strategies and needs
in an actionable way
-
Develop strong
partnerships across Global Shared
Services including Corporate Legal,
Corporate Security teams
-
Maintain
technical proficiency in information
security by evaluating new security
related technologies.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Computer Forensics Analyst Job

Experience related to computer
forensics and investigation/analysis
techniques
-
Knowledge
of network and data
communications, including LAN and WAN
environments, Windows and Novell
Operating Systems
-
Expertise and hands on application of forensics
tools such as EnCase, FTK,
NetAnalysis and E-mail Examiner
-
Expertise in computer hardware,
TCP/IP networking principles
-
Hands
on application of reading and
analyzing network event logs such as
remote access, proxy, firewall, web
server, etc.
-
Experience handling
Internet and e-mail issues such as
spamming, spoofing, highjacking,
etc. and various types of attacks
-
Thorough knowledge of Thunderbird/SunOne
Iplanet and Microsoft
Outlook/Exchange e-mail
environments
-
Excellent consulting
and creative problem-solving skills
with the ability to translate client
needs into practical solutions
-
Strong verbal and written
communication, presentation and
organizational skills including the
ability to explain technical
information to clients, management
and peers clearly and concisely

Successful record of delivering
results that meet stringent
compliance and security standards
and audit requirements
