Description:
The
Computer And Information Services Consultant will perform all or some of the
following Job description:
-
Build
and develop the IT organization,
processes and procedures in
accordance with a recently concluded
assessment of information technology
operations
-
Develop, test and deploy Disaster
Recovery/Business Continuity Plan
-
Assess deficiencies in, and
implement solutions for, network
security
-
Institute inventory tracking and
control system
-
Upgrade information systems and
equipment for maximum efficiency and
cost containment
-
Establish HelpDesk protocol,
including on-call procedures and
installation of tracking & reporting
software
-
Create written documentation of IT
procedures, deadlines, and
accountabilities
-
Develop a training curriculum of end
users
-
Institute a plan for continuing IT
staff training and development.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Computer And Information Services Consultant Job

Solid
experience in various business
applications and information
services
-
Knowledge and experience in
MS
Exchange, Windows XP/7, MS Server
2003; SQL; VMware or other
virtualization software
Open
Source CMS, HelpDesk management
and/or smart phone technology
experience
LAN/WAN management experience
Strong analytical skills with
demonstrated problem resolution at
both a strategic and functional
level
Excellent writing and presentation
skills, with ability to communicate
technical concepts to a
non-technical, business audience.
Minimum Education Requirements /
