Job
Description:
The
IT Production Control Analyst will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Provide
work direction, technical support,
education and training for Production
Control, Application Programming,
Computer Operations and user groups in
areas related to production control and
data set management
-
Coordinate all changes and provides a
change calendar for management with
additional communications to Computer
Operations
-
Provide
JCL expertise and problem-solving
assistance for Programmers and
Production Control Analysts
-
Write and
maintain ISPF dialogs and TSO clists
-
Research
and qualify the need for selected
software and hardware innovations
-
Create
procedural standards and educates
management and IT personnel on the pre
and post installation of the procedures.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For IT Production Control Analyst Job
-
Knowledge of mainframe z/OS systems,
JCL and processing, including JES3
-
Knowledge of ASG products including
Zena, Zeke, Zebb
-
Knowledge of FTP procedures,
scheduling and processing
-
Knowledge of security as applied to
the above systems
-
Knowledge of
distributed Systems processing such
as PeopleSoft
Scheduling and control of
distributed systems with integration
of mainframe systems
Thorough knowledge of data
processing terminology, concepts,
practices and procedures.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
IT Production Control Analyst Job
Bachelor's degree.
