Customer Service - Clerical Records Filer Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Customer Service - Clerical Records Filer will be responsible for providing entry-level office support services within Company customer locations. He/She will be primarily focused in building relationships with customers while providing important office support. In this position the Clerical Records Filer will be responsible for providing copy/print services, mail services, shipping and other office related tasks.  

Job Description:

The Customer Service - Clerical Records Filer will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Run high volume copy machines and perform binding and finishing work

  • Ensure convenience copiers are working properly, checking for quality via daily inspections

  • Clear paper jams and inform technicians of specific problems

  • Perform all repair service on customer copier equipment

  • Maintain records for management reports and inventories of supplies needed

  • Distribute office supplies, fax transmissions and mail to company personnel and/or designated drop-off points as required

  • Calculate charges for jobs performed and maintain some billing logs

  • Respond to and coordinate all service calls required by customer

  • May perform filing duties in conjunction with specific customer requests.   

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Customer Service - Clerical Records Filer Job

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Clerical or records filing experience. 

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Customer Service - Clerical Records Filer Job

  • High School Diploma or GED.
