Job Summary:

The Clerical Assistant - Insurance will be responsible for performing routine item processing.

Job Description:

The Clerical Assistant - Insurance will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Contact insurance carriers or agents to obtain policy information

  • Utilize several business applications and use appropriate technology to perform routine activities

  • Maintain internal, operational, and financial controls and ensure they meet company standards

  • Ensure a high quality of service and effective and efficient operations support for the assigned area's internal business partners and/or external clients

  • Perform extensive research of insurance related information to perform daily processing of business unit's work queues.   

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Clerical Assistant - Insurance Job

  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
  • Strong researching and analytical skills
  • Ability to make outbound calls to insurance agents and carriers
  • Ability to meet goals in a production & quality based environment
  • Strong attention to detail.
