Administrative and Financial Clerical Support II Job Description

 

 

 

Job Description:

The Administrative and Financial Clerical Support II will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Prepare and enter data for electronic capture

  • Index source documents

  • Sort source documents and enhance/correct source documents for data capture and validation

  • Assist in the analysis of financial and accounting data to solve a wide variety of financial and accounting problems

  • Use standard and specialized reports on automated systems

  • Enter data into computerized accounting systems and electronic spreadsheet applications

  • Perform audit on vendor invoices

  • Provide customer support services via phone, email and letter (correspondence).  

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Administrative and Financial Clerical Support II Job

  • Experience in operation and maintenance of computerized automated financial and accounting systems
  • Experience using electronic spreadsheets
  • Ability to use word processing software
  • Knowledge of electronic data entry using PC computers or data terminals
  • Knowledge of scanning, copying and general document duplication
  • General knowledge of office equipment and structure (office automation)
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to pass a US security background investigation via the HSPD-12 security process
  • Experience in operation and maintenance of computerized automated financial and accounting systems.
