Job Summary:
The
Administrative Services Associate, under
the general direction of the Chairman
and Program Director,
will be responsible for directing and
coordinating administrative activities
for Faculty and House Staff, including
faculty and house staff recruitment.

Description:
The
Administrative Services Associate will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Participate and successfully
implement special projects for the
Division Chair, such as coordination
of the department annual report, and
special projects for sales and
marketing
-
Participate in and support marketing
and business development efforts,
including maintaining the department
website. Assists in the preparation
of presentations, manuscripts,
abstracts and other publication
activities
-
Draft
correspondence and announcements,
information bulletins, policies and
procedures
-
Monitor and follow-up to ensure
adherence to policy and reporting
requirements
-
Independently develop and implement
plans to accomplish goals and
objectives set by the Chairman and
Program Director
-
Demonstrate initiative,
resourcefulness and problem solving
skills in organizing and
prioritizing work and establishing
systems and procedures.

Associate Job

3-5
years progressively responsible
office and administrative
experience, such experience
demonstrating ability to
independently establish
administrative and office procedures
-
Ability to identify problems and
resourcefulness to resolve them
independently and on own initiative
-
Healthcare experience and experience
in academic medicine and graduate
medical education environments
helpful
-
Familiarity with hospital compliance
regulations
-
Familiarity with manuscript
preparation, academic dossier and
curriculum vitae preparation and
maintenance, and PowerPoint
presentations
-
Ability
to multi-task and meet deliverables
with short timelines, prioritize and
organize work
Ability to perform accurate and
complete follow-up on all projects
with minimal or no supervision
Demonstrated leadership and project
management ability
Demonstrated ability to compose
letters, policy statements,
procedure manuals and reports on own
initiative
Ability to organize and prepare
complex statistical and narrative
reports, charts and exhibits into a
complete document suitable for
publication and distribution
Computer proficiency
Ability to edit material and ensure
correct punctuation, spelling and
grammar
Strong computer literacy comprised
of a working knowledge of Windows or
comparable operating system,
especially Word, Excel and
PowerPoint
Working knowledge of word
processing, spreadsheets,
presentation development, e-mail,
browsers, and online reporting
Strong interpersonal and
communication skills required to
interact effectively with
Organization business and physician
leaders, patients, physicians, and
representatives of outside agencies.
