Job Summary:
The
Administrative Assistant\Scheduler will be responsible for
performing a variety of clerical,
administrative and general office
duties, requiring knowledge of the
department’s operation and company
polices and procedures.
Job
Description:
The
Administrative Assistant\Scheduler will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

He/She will transcribe letters, memos and
reports using typewriter or word
processor
-
Screen telephone calls, incoming
mail, publications and other
correspondence. Route or handle
calls and mail not needing
supervisor’s attention
-
The
Administrative Assistant\Scheduler
will maintain calendars and schedules
appointments as needed
-
He/She will handle matters of a routine nature,
such as composing replies to
correspondence, following up on
pending issues and preparing summary
information for supervisor’s review.

The
Administrative Assistant\Scheduler may be authorized to make decisions
on routine matters as delegated by
supervisor
-
The
Administrative Assistant\Scheduler
will organize and maintain files,
correspondence, records and
confidential information
-
He/She will schedule appointments, meetings and
conferences; notify attendees and
prepare agendas as directed. May
prepare materials for presentation
and take meeting minutes

The
Administrative Assistant\Scheduler
will receive, greet, and screen visitors
-
Make
travel arrangements for supervisor
-
He/She may
carry out special projects and
assignments as requested; compile,
analyze and prepare data for
administrative support and
presentations
-
Monitor inventory levels of supplies
office; initiate purchase orders as
necessary

The

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Administrative
Assistant\Scheduler Job

The
Administrative Assistant\Scheduler
should have two
(2) years experience as a secretary
or administrative assistant

Possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel,
Power Point, Outlook, and Internet
-
The
Administrative Assistant\Scheduler
must have the ability to handle moderately complex
assignments under general
supervision
-
He/She must possess excellent oral and written
communications skills and
organization skills

The
Administrative Assistant\Scheduler
should have high
level of confidentiality

He/She must have the ability to report for work on time

The
Administrative Assistant\Scheduler
must be able to interact effectively with
co-workers

He/She should be able to understand and follow
posted work rules and procedures
