Description:
The
Administrative Assistant Community
Health Programs will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Responsible for providing
administrative support services to
the Vice President of Community
Health Programs, the Director of
Elder Care Services, the outreach
staff of Community Health Programs,
and other Programs VPs as needed.

years administrative assistant
experience, medical or social
service related helpful

Ability to work flexible hours
depending on needs of Agency

Excellent communication skills
(verbal and written), as well as
excellent interpersonal relationship
skills with board members, staff,
volunteers and community

Ability
to handle multiple projects,
appropriately organizing,
prioritizing and delegating
Ability to schedule multiple
meetings and appointments
efficiently and accurately in
coordination with peers, with other
departments and the public
Superior administrative and
organizational skills, including
good command of English (punctuation
and usage) typing, transcription
skills, and knowledge of basic
office equipment
Work
characteristics such as flexibility,
ability to work independently as
well as a team player, anticipation
of needs, dependability
Ability to
promote a positive professional
image and environment for the
Agency, its affiliates, and its
administration
Ability to
promote leadership/role model in
support area
Ability to participate in the
development of contracts and project
planning
Previous supervisory experience
preferred
Advanced computer skills to include
Microsoft applications (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.),
Solutions, Meeting Room Manager and
other related applications
Ability to type with speed and
accuracy
Ability to exhibit professionalism
and respect confidentiality
Ability to
support and model Organization
philosophy and objectives
Willing to submit pre-employment
assessment of administrative skills.
