Description:
The
Administrative Assistant II will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Review and distribute department
correspondence
-
Answer, screen, and direct telephone
calls
-
Maintain daily calendars
-
Make
complex travel arrangements and
arrange itinerary
-
Compose own correspondence
-
Edit
and proof correspondence prepared by
others
-
Prepare on-going and special reports
while obtaining necessary data and
information from various sources
-
Process personnel-related
transactions
-
Identify problems and conduct
research necessary to assemble
information for review
-
Assist in the development of
presentation materials
-
Assist with and/or assume
responsibility for a variety of
small projects within the department
-
File
and report organization
-
Measuring and tracking supply
expenses
-
Manage IT weekly travel approvals
and Assist CIO Admin as necessary
-
Coordinate meetings with IT,
Business and Vendors, using Calendar
and conference scheduling.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Administrative Assistant II Job
-
Post
high school course work or
equivalent experience required
relating to the mastery of
computer/office systems skills
-
3
plus years experience providing high
level secretarial and administrative
support in a professional business
environment
-
Previous experience and experience
of IT processes and organization
preferred
-
Significant customer service
experience, utilizing strong
inter-personnel skills
-
Considerable experience managing
multiple and high level priorities
simultaneously
-
Ability to prioritize work
assignments and be detail oriented
-
Proficient in office skills (i.e.,
Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point,
Visio)
-
Highly developed inter-personal
skills
-
Detailed knowledge of company
operations, organizational
procedures and personnel
-
Thorough knowledge of technical and
business vocabulary.
