Job Summary:
The
Systems Analyst Information Technology
Group, reporting to the Director for
Infrastructure Services, will be
responsible for the development and
support of the Organization's network
infrastructure and servers with the
staff of Systems and Networking group.
This includes both the hardware and
software on the servers, as well as
software development as it relates to
systems and networking.
The
Systems Analyst Information Technology
Group will also work with other
Computing and Information Services
personnel to resolve
systems-and-network-related user
problems.

Description:
The
Systems Analyst Information Technology
Group will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Share the day-to-day responsibility for
maintaining, documenting, patching and
upgrading all hardware and software on
multiple servers (file, application,
mail, print, web, database, backup, DHCP,
running multiple operating systems
(Linux, Solaris and Windows), for 2,400+
users
-
Provides 2nd tier support to Technology
Services team to resolve complex
problems
-
Work with the Network Analysts to
maintain wired and wireless network
connectivity throughout the Business
School network as necessary
-
Monitor all system, firewall and IDS
logs and provides reports
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Systems Analyst Information
Technology Group Job

Two years experience in the field of
Information Systems
-
Detailed knowledge of Windows
operating systems and working
knowledge of Unix-like operation
systems and Virtual infrastructure
-
Strong interpersonal and
communication skills
-
Demonstrated ability to work within
a team
-
Ability to commit to weekend duties
(on average once every 6 weeks)
-
Some knowledge of Perl, Python
Programming.
