implementing and supporting clinical,
financial, technical and administrative
systems.

The
Systems Analyst II - Information
Technology Healthcare will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Analyze,
build and modify clinical, financial,
technical and administrative systems
-
Participate in design, validation and QA
testing procedures prior to
implementation of software applications
-
Provide
system support including testing,
trouble shooting, and software
maintenance
-
Assist
users with the management of clinical,
financial and administrative data
-
Provide
support to users during scheduled and
unscheduled downtime periods
-
Participate in training sessions as
required
-
Provide
communications to project teams and
other departments
-
Update
system, operational and department
documentation
-
Perform
other related duties incidental to the
work described herein
-
Recommend
areas for process improvement or
workflow optimization
-
Provide
input into policy and procedure redesign
-
Assist
credentialed trainers in the education
of all organizational employees
-
Act as
coach to end users when providing
support or training
-
Function
as a preceptor for new staff in the
department.

Professional experience in the areas
of healthcare information
technology, application
implementation, support or project
management
-
Proficient PC and Microsoft Office
skills
-
Effective oral and written
communication skills
-
Organizational and time management
skills to handle deadlines and
multiple projects

Knowledge of the functions and
applications of information systems
-
Epic Certification in clinical,
financial or administrative
applications desirable where
appropriate.
