Job Summary:
The
Senior Internal Auditor - IT with
minimal oversight will be expected to
scope, plan, lead and execute internal
audit fieldwork activities and gain
client agreement on root cause of issues
and appropriate corrective actions while
maintaining positive client
relationships
He/She
may serve as auditor-in-charge for an
engagement and be responsible for
overseeing performance of other internal
audit teammates in addition to execution
of previously mentioned fieldwork
activities.Job
Description:
The
Senior Internal Auditor - IT will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Contribute to department
Sarbanes-Oxley activities such as
risk assessment, definition of
scope, design of IT/application
controls, IT controls testing and
partnering with management during
remediation efforts
-
Under
limited supervision, act in an
advisory and consulting role,
including monitoring management's
progress on remediation activities
while applying appropriate
skepticism to ensure management's
corrective actions are adequate and
sustained.

5 years of IT operational experience
(e.g., application development,
server/database/network
administration)

3 to
5 years of IT internal audit
experience, preferably in the
financial services or technology
services industry

Experience in evaluating the design
and operating effectiveness of IT
internal controls

Excellent time and project
management skills
-
Strong written and verbal
communication skills
-
Ability to establish relationships
with teammates, business partners
and audit customers
-
Desire to be a mentor and thought
leader within the Internal Audit
organization
-
Ability to work in ambiguous
situations with limited supervision
while maintaining effective
communications with the rest of the
team and department management

Prior
work experience that includes
supervision of others (e.g.,
auditor-in-charge on audit
engagements, team lead, management
position)

Positive attitude and outlook
-
Ability to travel to other sites as
needed, up to 50%.
Minimum Education Requirements /

Bachelor's degree in Business,
Management, Computer Science or
Management Information Systems.
