Job Summary:
The
Senior Financial Analyst - Information
Technology (IT) will have a strong
dotted line relationship to the Chief
Information Officer (CIO). He/She will
be responsible for all aspects of
finance support for the IT organization.
He/She will have overall responsibility
for financial management and control
processes including financial planning,
forecasting, reporting and variance
analysis.
The
Senior Financial Analyst - Information
Technology (IT) will be a key member of
the CIO management team in providing
financial consulting, developing and
monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)
and will attend and actively participate
in IT management meetings and
initiatives. He/She will also form
strong partnering with Corporate
Accounting and Finance, and IT Project
Managers.

The
Senior Financial Analyst - Information
Technology (IT) will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Budgeting and Forecasting - oversee
the budgeting, forecasting and
analysis processes for the IT
organization:
•Ensure complete and accurate
financial modeling and alignment of
key business drivers and expected
financial outcomes, variance
analysis
•Facilitate management’s
understanding of financial
performance including primary
expense drivers
•Review and challenge as appropriate
key assumptions, drivers and metrics
used to develop forecasts and plans

Monthly Reporting - lead the monthly
close and reporting processes for
the IT organization:
•Conduct monthly variance analysis
and reporting for assigned business
units
•Partner with Accounting and IT to
ensure accuracy of financial results
and comprehensive understanding of
variances
•Oversight and review of key IT
project management activities and
reporting metrics including time
tracking and reporting
•Prepare and analyze monthly journal
entries
Financial Modeling - create
financial models and spreadsheets to
and perform analysis for business
leaders and finance management

Management Consultation - provide
consultation to business owners on
financial matters and FTE
management:
•Financial analysis to support key
business decisions, including
capital expenditures, lease vs. buy
analysis, etc.
•Work as a liaison between the
Project Managers, IT Management, and
FP&A management for project
financial reporting & analysis.
•Provide consultation to business
owners on all aspects of financial
management

Identify and implement process
improvements.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Senior Financial Analyst -

Experience working with IT
organizations a plus

Ability to deliver results under
tight deadlines and at times with
minimum direct supervision

Strong PC skills including MS Excel,
MS Office products

Hyperion Essbase experience
preferred

Minimum Education Requirements /

B.S.
/ M.S. in Finance, Accounting,
Computer Sciences or other
applicable majors.
