Senior IT Recruiter Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Senior IT Recruiter will build consultative relationships with client groups to establish talent acquisition plans and execute to that plan by delivering high caliber candidates for Technology positions. 

Job Description:

The Senior IT Recruiter will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Establish effective relationships with hiring managers by setting expectations for the hiring process and establishing required job specifications and competencies

  • Build credibility with senior leaders by applying knowledge of financial industry, line of business and talent acquisition practices

  • Develop and execute unique strategies and relationships to better understand business changes, hiring needs, and market climate

  • Utilize effective and creative sourcing strategies, such as Internet mining, social networking, targeted research, memberships and affiliations, employee referrals and other methods to build a talent network for current and future organizational needs

  • Responsible for a requisition load of typically 20-25 openings in multiple locations for multiple clients

  • Deliver consistent level of service to all clients and candidates

  • Consistently fill 10-12 requisitions per month within defined time-to-fill and quality of hire standards

  • Engage prospects and evaluate candidates for competency fit with the organization as well as against qualifications for the job

  • Act as talent broker for the organization when top talent is identified by sharing the candidate with other recruiters and clients

  • Partner with hiring manager to create compelling and appropriate compensation package

  • Extend and secure offers, negotiating with candidates while balancing candidate’s desires and the best interest of the organization

  • Utilize applicant tracking system (ATS) to maintain accurate records of all hiring activities and decisions

  • Apply your proficiency with multiple technologies in the recruitment process, including the Internet, and Microsoft Office applications for sourcing, screening, assessing, selecting, preboarding and onboarding talent

  • Follow policies set by PNC to reduce legal vulnerabilities for the organization and meet affirmative action program goals

  • Offer input on strategic direction of Employment function, assuming responsibility for periodic project assignments.  

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Senior IT Recruiter Job

  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment, where ability to assess client needs and present top talent in time-sensitive environment are keys to success; motivated by fill rate and time to fill goals, as well as quality of hiring standards
  • Consistently present top talent to clients as a result of superior sourcing proficiency and ingenuity; demonstrate expert ability to utilize multiple sourcing techniques and establish talent network; stay current with trends and technologies
  • Business acumen, including sound knowledge of core technology functions and processes
  • Understanding of and experience with vendor management and relations, including contractor placement
  • Five years recruiting experience, including at least three years in a technology recruitment capacity
  • Have strong PC and internet skills, including proficiency with sourcing technologies, Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems; Kenexa BrassRing and PeopleSoft experience preferred
  • Knowledge of EEO/AA standards and guidelines.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Senior IT Recruiter Job

  • Completed 4 years of college resulting in bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
